The cover lenses of the laser head are easily contaminated by welding dust in roof laser brazing. So, the cover lenses need be replaced periodically. The lifespan of the cover lenses is 750 cycles and the target is set as 2000 cycles. We carry out four countermeasures, including reducing heat input, deflecting laser head, increasing adding blowing device and power real-time power detection. And then the lifespan of the cover lenses is improved to 2450 cycles.
